My jaw dropped when I discovered Thomas Hillier’s senior thesis for the Bartlett School of Architecture via BldgBlog. Inspired by the work of Japanese artist Ando Hiroshige, Hillier created a handmade book filled with origami and a complex model of the story’s architectural world. I have made this type of origami before and it can be very time consuming and frustrating. I’ve never seen something that elaborate.
